Ladies and Gentlemen…..
There she is! Of course, we loved the font, loved the look and then we put it on the boat……and realized that when the ladder is down, you really can’t see it well. So, this name will stay on for 2011. In 2012, it’s a do-over. We’ll split the name on either side of the ladder and put a slight arch in it. More to come…
So, it’s the busiest time of the year….I can’t even believe how much we do in one day. Between soccer, lacrosse, twirling, pom kick, dance, 5th grade play, orchestra, band and chorus……Then there is the launching of three of our seven boats….. In addition, I refinished three benches for Larry’s new, old toy, our 13 foot whaler. I finished painting Laurence’s bedroom. I’ve completed half of the planting on our exterior. We have two recitals and a soccer tournament coming. Also add on the PTA Car Wash, Opening Day at the BYC, our Happy Hour, the 5th Grade play, my niece’s shower and our Beefsteak dinner…..I’m a tad overwhelmed. But it will all work out – always does. And then it will be summer!!!
BIG NEWS!!!!! Cannot wait for this – we just reserved a Lagoon 440 Catamaran in TORTOLA!!!!!!! We are going to bareboat around the British Virgin Islands in February. This means, we’ll sail it ourselves, no crew. We’re going with Larry’s sister, Paula, and her family. The boat is amazing!! Not very pretty, but amazing. 4 double cabins, 4 bathrooms, air conditioning, flying bridge, big salon, cockpit shower, sink and fridge in the cockpit…..Jost Van Dyke, here I come!! Check out the boat here (skip through the interviews):
